As you already know there isn’t just one building that belongs to HSE University, but many of them that are scattered across Moscow.
Pokra — is the newest HSE complex on 11 Pokrovsky Boulevard. The Faculties of Economic Sciences, Computer Science, Geography, as well as ICEF are located here. This complex also has the largest and most modern library at university. Besides, it is on Pokrovka Street where most administrative divisions can be found.
Buildings on Myasnitskaya Street, or Myaso, as HSE students like to call them, are located at 20 Myasnitskaya St, 11 Myasnitskaya St, and 4 Armyansky lane. This is where students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and future urban planners study.
The Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Physics study at 21/4 Basmannaya St. Students call their building Basmach.
The Graduate School of Business resides in a large complex of buildings at 26 Shabolovskaya St, or Shabla.
Students of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs study on Ordynka Street. You can find future international experts at 47/7 Bolshaya Ordynka St and 17 Malaya Ordynka St.
HSE MIEM is located in Strogino, at 34 Tallinskaya street. This is the farthest building of HSE with stunning views of Stroginsky flood plain.
Khitra, Malyi Trekhsvyat and и Media Yard
The Faculty of Communications, Media, and Design (except the HSE Art and Design School) can be found at 2/8 Khitrovskaya Alley, or Khitra, and 8/2 Malyi Trekhsvyatitelsky Lane (Malyi Trekhsvyat). The two buildings are across the yard from each other.
Designers study at 12 Pionerskaya St. Pionerka is a very artistic building decorated with posters and full of ongoing creative processes.
The Faculty of Law dwells next to the media people, at 3 Bolshoy Trekhsvyatitelsky Lane.
6 Usacheva St
Mathematicians can be found at 6 Usacheva St.
Biologists and chemists study on Vavilova St.
Try to visit all these buildings while you are studying and learn about their features: swings in the media yard, the first coworking space on Myaso, cozy Basmach libraries, and much more.
Some HSE buildings have coworking spaces where you can study or meet your classmates to work on projects. In the university buildings you can find working areas where you can spend your time preparing for the classes. In addition, coworking spaces, libraries, and computer classes allow you to print the documents. Ask your buddies where the best place to study in your building is. They will be happy to help you!
HSE library is the world-class library that includes over 700,000 items on economics and management, social, political science and other disciplines; most of these items are recent works by Russian and foreign scholars. HSE library has eleven units throughout Moscow and all of them are fully available for foreign students.

HSE Printing House comprises many printing offices that supply the University’s divisions with various printed products. Besides, they also offer printing services to all HSE students and staff at discounted prices. All you have to do is prepare a layout, choose the type of product, calculate its price, and place your order online.
The Printing House produces, copies and replicates prints, paperback and hardcover books, brochures, journals, newspapers and other periodicals. It also prints textbooks, academic and reference books for HSE students and staff. In addition, it prepares handouts for meetings, workshops and lectures held at HSE. Moreover, the Printing House can offer commercial services to non-HSE personnel and companies.

Cafeterias and Cafes
Almost every HSE building has a cafeteria for staff and students. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. They offer a diverse choice of foods, with at least five kinds of salad, hot and cold starters, and various soups. Main courses always include a range of meat, poultry, and fish, as well as vegetables, and side dishes such as rice, buckwheat, or potatoes, etc. You can also find special healthy menus.
Prices are designed to meet a student’s budget: the average cost of a meal usually does not exceed 200 roubles.

At BookVyshka, a HSE University bookshop, you can purchase both books published by the HSE University Publishing House and books by Russian and international authors in a variety of fields. There you can also find many HSE souvenirs, such as T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, etc.

All international students are entitled to a place at one of HSE dormitories. Currently, the university has 11 dormitories.
- Tenants have 24/7 access to the dorm.
- Guests are allowed to stay in the dorm until 11 PM.
- Relatives and friends are not permitted to stay in the dorm and need to make their own living arrangements elsewhere.

- Carefully read and sign the dormitory Internal Regulations and the Tenancy Agreement at the webpage.
- Pay your dorm fee on time.

Dormitory rent must be paid upon your checking in the dormitory. You are to pay your rent monthly and in advance, no later than the 10th day of every month. If you arrive in August, the first payment will cover your rent for August.

- Pick up a payment slip from the dormitory administration or make the payment online using this link.
- Fill in your name and pay your rent at a local bank or ask your buddy to help you.
- Submit a receipt confirming your payment to the dormitory administration.
